The OFAH | Mario Cortellucci Hunting and Fishing Heritage Centre offers engaging full-day educational programs for students of all ages, all for just $10 per student. Qualified educators guide students through the importance of fish and wildlife conservation, making it an affordable and enriching destination in Peterborough and surrounding areas. Teachers and parents enjoy free admission.

Make the day even more memorable by adding activities like fishing and archery! These activities not only enhance the students’ learning experience but also provide fun and practical applications of the skills they learn.
Our programs are aligned with Ontario’s Science and Technology curriculum, with additional connections to Literacy and Health & Physical Education.
Other Details for Teachers:
- Students are to arrive at 10AM and depart at 2PM
- They are asked to bring their own nut-free, litterless lunch and snacks
- Students are also asked to come dressed for the weather, as several of our activities take place outside

Grade 5
Through a series of hands-on activities, games, and animal interactions, learn about conservation and our roles in keeping the Earth healthy.
Grade 6
Invading species are one of the greatest threats to Ontario’s biodiversity. Discover the impact of such species on our local waterways and forests with a focus on ways to help stop the spread.
Grade 7
Ecosystems are in a constant state of change. Examine how humans play a role in these environmental interactions through a series of hands-on investigations.
Grade 8
Discover how your favourite fishing spot is part of a much larger water system. Investigate the importance of water through intriguing activities.
